“Pay It Forward” is a fictional book written by
Catherine Ryan Hyde
released in January 2000 depicting the concept of “Pay It Forward”
where one person does a good deed for someone else without the
expectation of something in return. The person for whom the good
deed was done should then, in turn, do a good deed for someone else.
This is such a simple concept, yet extremely effective and powerful.
This methodology is the premise of Family Justice League, where
member volunteers have come together to help each other get through
one of the most devastating of life’s events – that of separation
and divorce where children are involved. We believe that if enough
people make the effort to “Pay It Forward,” our communities and
families will strengthen and prosper.
